Current Scholarship Awards
Two Washington students were recognized with 2024 scholarship awards at the SEAW Spring Social. Congratulations to these students, who received SEAW scholarships.
William Case is receiving a $2500 SEAW Scholarship award. He earned a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from WSU in 2022 and recently completed a Master of Science in Civil Engineering degree, also at WSU. Will has interned at KLB Construction, Pacific Engineering & Design, Leslie Engineering, and Swenson Say Faget. William will begin his structural engineering career at Coughlin Porter Lundeen in Seattle this August. Outside of structural engineering, William enjoys fishing, hiking, reading, and spending time with friends and family.
Past Scholarship Recipients
Past scholarship recipients include a past SEFW Chair, several SEAW Engineer of the Year recipients, and many current SEAW members. Read more about past scholarship winners on our Student Spotlights page (TBD).
Additional Scholarship Opportunities
In addition to funding the annual SEAW Scholarship Program, SEFW is committed to supporting scholarships that increase learning for structural engineers and structural engineering students. SEFW has provided scholarships for younger structural engineers to cover registration fees or accommodations for professional development academic conferences like the NCSEA Structural Engineering Summit and the SEA Northwest Conference. SEFW is also a proud donor of the local ACE Mentor Program, fully funding $5,000 scholarships for students intending to study structural engineering at the university level.
